"Nottingham Forest" club lost 1:4 to Birmingham's "Aston Villa" team and did not make it to the Europa League final.

After the match, the "Forest" head coach Victor Pereira commented on the reasons for the crushing defeat to the sports publication "TNT Sports":

"In order to compete in the semifinals against a team like "Aston Villa," we need all players to be able to compete under proper conditions.

If we look at the situation before the match, there were quite a few injured players."

"Playing against London’s "Chelsea" on Monday and performing well here three days later was difficult.

I am very proud of the "Forest" fans; they have been trying to help us throughout this long time.

It's a shame to be eliminated, but I am proud of my players because they gave it their all."
