The new FA Cup season has kicked off.

Leicester City defeated the semi-amateur Oxford United 4–2 in the first-round match.

18-year-old Louis Page contributed most to the victory, providing two assists and scoring a goal.

Premier League clubs will join the competition only in the third round of the FA Cup.

In 2021, Leicester City won this cup.
