Lionel Messi dominates not only on the football pitch but also in the commercial market of North America’s Major League Soccer (MLS).

The league announced that the captain of Inter Miami once again took first place in jersey sales popularity among players from all 30 clubs.

The Argentine has topped this ranking for four consecutive seasons.

Although MLS did not disclose the exact sales figures for Adidas jerseys, the league published the top 10 players who generated the most revenue from official merchandise sales.

Alongside the Argentine star, two famous newcomers from European football also appeared on the symbolic podium. Second place went to South Korean footballer Son Heung-min of Los Angeles FC, while third place was claimed by German Thomas Müller, who plays for the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Robert Lewandowski took fourth place after moving to Chicago Fire, while Orlando City newcomer Antoine Griezmann came in fifth.

The top 10 most popular players also included young U.S. soccer talent Cavan Sullivan (6th), Denis Bouanga (7th), Uruguayan Luis Suárez (8th), German Hany Mukhtar (9th), and Argentine Rodrigo De Paul (10th).
