Ž. Sopičius on the upcoming match against Lugano

FK Kauno Žalgiris have arrived in Switzerland, where on November 5 they will face Lugano, the leaders of the Swiss league.

On the eve of the match, Žalgiris held a training session at the Lugano stadium, after which head coach Željko Sopić shared his thoughts.

Before the match, Sopić said: "It was very important for us to secure the title against Hegelmann—we are champions for the second consecutive year. Knowing that we will have another match next weekend after this game, it was important. As far as I know, Lugano have not yet lost in the league, and they have defeated three opponents on their way to this tournament. They are a very fast, good team that plays with three centre-backs.”

The match will begin at 10 p.m.

This will be their third match in the Conference League.
