"Barcelona” are facing serious financial constraints ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.
The club currently has just €3–4 million available for potential new signings, meaning the chances of strengthening Hansi Flick’s squad without violating financial rules are extremely limited.
As reported by the Spanish daily "Diario SPORT”, "Barcelona” vice-president Ferran Olivé recently confirmed the club’s difficult situation and admitted that its available financial resources are very limited.
"We have a small surplus, but it is very limited—just €3–4 million,” Olivé said.
This means that, in order to sign stronger players, "Barcelona” will most likely have to sell some members of its current squad or look for financially favorable deals.
