J. Rodriguez hung up his football boots

Jay Rodriguez, who scored more than a few beautiful goals in the Premier League, is retiring from football.

The English striker announced that he is ending his football career.

In his final season, Rodriguez played for Wrexham, having previously represented Burnley, West Brom and Southampton.

The 37-year-old striker, who came through Burnley’s academy, spent a total of 11 seasons there as a professional. He scored 56 goals across all those seasons.

One of his most impressive goals was scored at Old Trafford.
