On Monday, a prestigious "Ballon d'Or” awards ceremony took place in London.

For the first time, Bayern Munich and England striker Harry Kane was named the footballer of the year.

After his triumph, H. Kane himself hoped that his journey would inspire young boys and girls to pursue their goals.

"It is simply a long journey. I want both young boys and young girls to realize that anything is possible.

My journey certainly was not easy. I had to seek my opportunities at lower-league clubs. I hope this will inspire the younger generation.

I have been fortunate to be surrounded by wonderful players both at my club and in the national team. Although this is an individual award, I want to thank my teammates, because none of this would have been possible without them,” said H. Kane.
