Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin set a record following the latest match against Barcelona.

In the Spanish La Liga clash held on October 25, the Madrid club defeated the Catalans 2–1.

Statistics expert Alexis Martín-Tamayo reported that Lunin became the first goalkeeper in the 124-year history of El Clásico to record at least four victories in his first five matches against Barcelona.

In the five matches in which the Ukrainian guarded Real Madrid’s goal, the Madrid side defeated their arch-rivals four times: 3–1 in October 2022, 4–1 in January 2024, 3–2 in April of the same year, and 2–1 in October 2026.

Real Madrid’s only defeat with Lunin in goal came in October 2024, when they lost 4–0 to Barcelona.
