Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick commented on Rodri’s impact on the team ahead of the upcoming El Clásico match:

"Rodri’s impact has been fantastic.

When we had the opportunity to sign the midfielder, everyone at the club was convinced it was a good deal.”

"Jules Koundé will miss Sunday’s match.

We did not want to risk the Frenchman’s health.”

Barcelona have won all nine of their matches in the Spanish league.

Rodri has played eleven matches this season.
