Lisbon’s "Benfica” are picking up points at a fairly consistent rate in Portugal.

On Monday, "Benfica” defeated "Santa Clara” 2–1.

Luis Fernando scored the opening goal of the match in the 32nd minute.

However, the visitors rallied midway through the second half. Vangelis Pavlidis first found the net before Gianluca Prestianni sealed the victory with a well-placed strike.

"Benfica” are currently five points behind league leaders "Porto”.
