"Barcelona” have received a symbolic fine from the Spanish Football Federation for their pursuit of Julian Alvarez over the summer.

Atletico Madrid approached the federation over Barcelona’s efforts to lure J. Alvarez away back in the summer.

The Spanish Football Federation made its decision and imposed a symbolic fine on the Catalan club.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Barcelona have been fined €602.

However, despite the symbolic fine, Barcelona are preparing to appeal.
