Real Madrid is trying to retain two important players for as long as possible.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Spanish club has reached a verbal agreement with goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois for the signing of a new contract.
The current 34-year-old Belgian's contract is valid until the summer of 2027, but Real has agreed with the player to collaborate for one more season.
At the same time, the Spaniards are actively negotiating with midfielder Jude Bellingham.
Real's contract with the England national team representative is valid until 2029, but that is not enough for the Madrid club.
Having performed excellently in the 2026 World Cup, J. Bellingham has also started the season successfully in Madrid.
In five matches, he scored two goals and provided three assists.
