M. Carrick praised V. Dambrauskas: it wasn't easy to play against 'Sabah'

After a successful start in the Champions League and a 4:0 victory against the "Sabah" club, "Man Utd" coach Michael Carrick did not hold back his praise for the opposing team.

"I have to praise them highly – it was certainly not easy to play against the Azerbaijani team.

"Sabah" executes passes well and makes opponents work hard to regain the ball.

The score looks assured, but the match was not always like that.

I think we did a lot of things well yesterday, which allowed us to win the match.

It's nice not to concede a goal and, of course, to secure the victory. I think some of our forwards played fantastically, and some of our attacks were indeed good.

We played dangerously transitioning from defense to attack, and for much of the match, we also defended very well,” added M. Carrick.
