José Mourinho officially returns to the helm of Madrid's Real.

On Thursday evening, the "royal" club announced the signing of a contract with the Portuguese coach.

The 63-year-old strategist returns to Real after a 13-year break, having previously led the team from 2010 to 2013.

Real has signed a contract with J. Mourinho until the summer of 2029.

Benfica will receive a compensation of 15 million euros for J. Mourinho.
