C. Eriksen: 'I want to continue helping the Denmark national team'

Denmark's national team and Wolfsburg midfielder Christian Eriksen revealed that he will continue to play for Denmark:

"I still feel like an important part of the national team. Of course, you never know which way things will turn or what will happen later.

But still, our goal is to qualify for the 2028 European Championship. Definitely."

"Maybe these are just your own thoughts. But at the same time, I remember that I enjoy playing for the Denmark national team.

But later, we will see how we perform, and I will also talk to head coach Brian Riemer to hear his opinion."

The Denmark national team lost to the Czechs at the end of last month and did not qualify for the World Cup.

34-year-old Christian Eriksen has been playing for this national team since 2010 and has scored 46 goals in 149 matches.
