Gargždai "Banga" extended their unbeaten matches streak in TOPLYGA to six. In the 12th round, the team coached by David Afonso defeated Vilnius "Riteriai" 4:0 (2:0) on the road.

"Banga" started the match actively and quickly found the net. After a shot from the side, Kofi Asare received a pass from Rokas Filipavičius in the 12th minute and outsmarted Simone Moschino.

Later, the pace of the match slowed down somewhat, but the players from Gargždai scored their second goal during a positional attack. In the 38th minute, Valdas Antužis passed the ball back to Sidai Praleikai, who scored with a successful long-range shot.

The second half progressed calmer, and after more than a two-month break, Egidijus Vaitkūnas returned to the lineup for "Riteriai." However, in the 85th and 90th minutes, the Gargždai team solidified their advantage, with a fantastic goal from Vaidas Madgušauskas and Matas Ambrazaitis opening his scoring account with accurate shots in TOPLYGA.

"Banga" has now climbed to 4th place with 18 points, while "Riteriai" remains with 3 points.
