V. Dambrauskas: We thoroughly analyzed "Viking”

Ahead of the upcoming UEFA Champions League clash between "Sabah” and "Viking”, the coaches of both teams shared their thoughts on preparing for the match.

"I think we prepared for this match in the same way as we do for any other—we analyzed our opponents’ play.

Since the draw matched us with "Viking”, we have watched all of their matches both in the domestic championship and in the Champions League,” "Sabah” head coach Valdas Dambrauskas said ahead of the encounter.

Meanwhile, "Viking” coach Bjarte Lunde Aarsheim admitted that although the Azerbaijani club is not widely known among European football fans, they have no intention of underestimating them.

"We believe that we can achieve a positive result in this match.

"Sabah” is not a team many people will have heard of, but they are a strong opponent who have already managed to win a match. We intend to play attacking football and believe that we can achieve the desired result,” said the "Viking” coach.

The match between the Norwegian and Azerbaijani clubs will be played on Wednesday at 22:00.
