Paris Saint-Germain set a new UEFA Champions League record on Tuesday.

The best team in Europe became the first to score four goals in the opening 17 minutes of a Champions League match.

Villarreal were so generously "rewarded” and ultimately suffered a 0–6 defeat to Luis Enrique’s side.

Fabian Ruiz scored twice in the match after triumphing in all the major tournaments last season.

PSG have won the Champions League twice in a row.
