Former Argentina national team and „Vélez Sarsfield“ defender Nicolás Otamendi was outraged by the refereeing in „Boca Juniors“’ match against Buenos Aires side „River Plate“:

„The referees are ruining Argentine football.

You simply don’t let us compete.

Next year, just say who you support, so we won’t even need to play and fight.“

„Boca Juniors“ won the match 1–0.

Two „River Plate“ players were shown red cards.
