Leeds defeated Tottenham 1–0 at home.

A very interesting incident took place at the end of the first half, when Jayden Bogle committed a serious foul against Mathys Tel. Referee John Brooks awarded no punishment, but VAR reviewed the incident for as long as four minutes. In the end, the referee was not called to the monitor, and the Leeds player did not even receive a yellow card.
