London's "Arsenal" victory architect Mikel Arteta hopes that the successful performance of the "Gunners" will be reflected in his salary.
"The Telegraph" reports that the specialist, who became the champion of England, does not oppose extending his contract with the team, but demands a salary of £20 million per year. With possible bonuses, the total could rise to £25 million.
In recent seasons, the coach had to settle for a significantly lower salary – £12 million (+£3 million).
The strategist also points a finger at his colleague in the Premier League – "Aston Villa" manager Unai Emery receives exactly £20 million in annual compensation.
M. Arteta has been leading "Arsenal" since 2019.
