M. Pochettino: 'I am very sad about the Tottenham club'

Former London Tottenham club head coach Mauricio Pochettino did not hide his sadness that his former team is fighting for survival in the Premier League:

"It is very sad. I love the Spurs team very much and it will always be an important part of my life.

It is sad because I know how people are suffering – both those within the club and the fans. It is hard to come to terms with it.”

The Tottenham club is not only fighting for survival, but they will not be aided this season by defender Xavi Simons and forward Dominic Solanke.

This team is in 18th place in the English championship with 34 points.

The Spurs fought for their first victory this year last weekend when they won against the Wolves club.
