In this TOPLYGA season, the FK "Kauno Žalgiris" footballers, who have not experienced a defeat yet, will welcome the guests from the Vilnius region - the "TransINVEST" team, which ranks fourth in the tournament table and is a newcomer to this season's league.

Ahead of the upcoming match, "Žalgiris" player Nosa Edoko shared his thoughts.

"Today we had a meeting, so we received a lot of information about their team. We are focused and prepared as we would be for any other match. Every meeting is different, and now we are facing a really good team - they are newcomers to the league, so they will be very motivated to play against the champions," said the defender.

N. Edoko also mentioned the team's mindset.

"We are still unbeaten, so we want to remain that way. We will give all our strength in the last match of the first round," the footballer confidently responded.

In the last round's match against Kauno rajono "Hegelmann" (5:0), N. Edoko missed out due to receiving four yellow cards, but he said it was not easy.

"It’s definitely not easy to watch the team from the bench. Especially when the matches were so amazing. It's part of football – sometimes you have to miss matches, but I hope that this week the situation will be different. I am ready, and I hope that this time we will play just as well with me," the "Žalgiris" player responded with a smile.

The clash between "Kauno Žalgiris" and "TransINVEST" will begin this Saturday at 14:15.
