M. ter Stegen: 'We must return Ajax to where it belongs'

Goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen, belonging to the "Barcelona" club, has joined the Amsterdam "Ajax" team on loan.

The German did not hide his ambitious goals after this transfer:

"Good things take time. In the end, everything worked out well, and I am happy to be here.

We need to bring the "Ajax" club back to where it belongs.

I am very much looking forward to this team achieving just that.”

M. ter Stegen played in the second half of last season for the "Girona" team, but due to injury, he only played two matches.

34-year-old Marc André ter Stegen has been playing for the "Barcelona" team since 2014 and has played 423 matches.
