The "Barcelona" star was selected as the Young Sportsman of the Year at the prestigious "Laureus" sports awards.

The 18-year-old Spaniard received the symbolic trophy in Madrid, where the ceremony took place.

Last year, L. Yamal was also close to the "Ballon d'Or," but it ultimately went to PSG forward Ousmane Dembélé.
