The coach of the Germany national team, Julian Nagelsmann, believes that there are too many intrusive photographers at the World Cup.
In this way, the German agreed with his compatriot Thomas Tuchel's opinion, who also expressed similar complaints after the England national team's matches.
"Singing the national anthem before the matches is a very emotional moment. It is an opportunity to establish a connection with the players.
In Bundesliga or Champions League matches, photographers are also positioned in front of the substitutes' bench, but here they stand very close.
I feel like those gigantic lenses are capturing the hair in my nose from a centimeter away.
It is important that the players see how the coach experiences this moment - whether he is singing the anthem, expressing emotions, or encouraging them again afterward.
All of this creates a connection, and meanwhile, I see only photographers in front of me," said J. Nagelsmann.
