Lisbon's "Benfica" coach Jose Mourinho may return to a top-level club.

In recent seasons, the Portuguese's career trajectory has gradually declined, and he has had to test his strengths in the Turkish and Portuguese leagues.

However, according to the publication "Marca," the now 61-year-old specialist has found himself on the list of candidates to coach the Madrid "Real" team.

Mourinho does not hold a leading position on that list, but if the royal team cannot come to an agreement with the strategists they are more interested in, Mourinho may receive a call from president Florentino Perez.

The experienced coach had previously managed "Real" from 2010 to 2013.
