The legendary player of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team Edin Džeko will remain at Schalke.

As reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, the forward will sign a contract until the summer of 2027.

Edin Džeko rejected offers from MLS, Serie A, and Bundesliga teams.

Schalke will play in the highest German league next season.

Edin Džeko scored six goals in 11 matches for Schalke this year.

The 40-year-old Bosnian played three matches in the World Cup and contributed to advancing to the next stage.
