The Madrid "Atletico" club drew 1:1 with London’s "Arsenal" in the first leg of the Champions League semifinals.

After the match, legendary "mattresses" player Antoine Griezmann praised his team's performance:

"In the second half, our game was much better in terms of pressing and intensity.

That is the way to stay in this series. There will be great and intense matches in London, but that is the beauty of football."

"Conceding a goal at the end of the first half is tough.

We made two or three tactical changes to press the opponent better, and that made the difference. Then our fans actively supported the team."

"My biggest dream is to reach the Champions League final. I prepared a lot for these matches, I am ready for the others.

I hope we can achieve that."

The return match will take place on Tuesday in London.

35-year-old forward Antoine Griezmann will leave the "Atletico" club after this season and move to "Orlando City".
