The German national team will be without its homegrown midfielder at the upcoming World Cup.
"Die Mannschaft" will be missing Serge Gnabry due to injury. The German player released a statement about it:
"The last few days have been difficult.
The season at Bayern, where there is still much to achieve after winning the Bundesliga title last weekend.
As for the dream of playing in the World Cup with the German football team... Unfortunately, it has come to an end for me.
Like other citizens of the country, I will support the boys from home."
Serge Gnabry suffered a tear in the muscle of his right thigh.
The 30-year-old midfielder scored 10 goals in 37 matches this season.
The Bavarians will face PSG in the Champions League semifinals.
