While U.S. President Donald Trump was awarding the second-place winners, the defender decided to ignore one of the world’s most famous politicians and did not shake his hand.

Later, the U.S. leader, along with FIFA president Gianni Infantino, who presented the winners' trophy to the Spanish players, did not want to leave the stage and did not listen even to the requests of the Swiss.

Finally, Trump shifted a bit to the side, but still appeared in the television broadcast.

In the World Cup final, Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 and became champion after a 16-year hiatus.
