POP: M. Salah's seated stone has become a tourist attraction in Turkey.

One of the greatest African players of all time, Mohamed Salah, is worshipped in Turkey.

On his day off, the new Trabzonspor player sat on a stone in a mountain meadow, posted a photo on Instagram, and soon football fans turned this spot into a tourist attraction.

Now videos are spreading on social media showing people waiting in line at the site. They are taking pictures in the same pose as the footballer, and the simple stone has become a sort of local celebrity.

The photo was taken in mid-September 2026 in the Kurtdere Yaylasi area of Trabzon province.

Prior to this, M. Salah had visited the nearby Sumela Monastery.
