On Sunday, the legendary "Superclásico” derby between Boca Juniors and River Plate took place in Argentina.

Boca Juniors defeated their fierce rivals 1–0.

A goal scored by Lautaro Di Lollo in the 27th minute proved decisive.

The visitors received two red cards. Lucas Martínez Quarta was sent off in the 10th minute for a last-man foul, while in the second half Gonzalo Montiel received the same punishment for a reckless foul.

Boca Juniors are three points behind Argentine league leaders Instituto.
