Mauricio Pochettino should continue to lead the U.S. national team.

Journalist David Ornstein reports that the 54-year-old specialist is finalizing new contract details with the country's football federation.

The current M. Pochettino contract is valid until the end of July, but it should soon be extended until the end of the 2030 World Cup.

In the recently concluded World Cup, M. Pochettino led the U.S. national team to the Round of 16.
