On June 3, the teacher football tournament took place at the stadium of the Social Services Department of the Kaunas University of Technology, where teachers and specialists from various subjects competed: preschool education, physical education, information technology, music, history, chemistry, literature, and English language teachers, as well as psychology and career specialists.

As the school year was coming to an end and summer vacations were approaching, teachers tested their skills on the football field playing three against three. The football game was played with non-traditional-sized goals using a fourth-sized ball. Eight teams competed against each other, playing one ten-minute half.

The tournament featured teams from the host Social Services Department, Kaunas Palemonas Gymnasium, Kaunas Simon Daukantas Progymnasium, Kaunas "Hero" Gymnasium, Kaunas "Hero" Progymnasium, Gražiškiai Gymnasium (Vilkaviškis District), and Vilkija Gymnasium (Kaunas District).

First place was claimed by Vilkija Gymnasium, second place was taken by Kaunas Palemonas Gymnasium, and third place prizes went to the teachers of Kaunas Simon Daukantas Progymnasium. The Kaunas County Football Federation's established prizes were awarded to the prize-winning and participating teams by KAFF board member Algirdas Kvalkauskas.

"I didn’t expect so many teachers from different subjects to actively participate and test themselves on the football field. One of the main rules of the game was that during the match, there always had to be one male teacher and two female teachers playing, which allowed everyone to actively engage in the game. While all teams competed for the title of champions, mutual respect remained the main thing," said the organizer of the event, Martynas Karpavičius.
