The head of the Munich "Bayern" club, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, assured that he does not intend to sell star Michael Olise and compared his situation to Franck Ribery:
"In 2009, we received an incredible offer from London 'Chelsea' for F. Ribery.
At that time, it would have been a new record in the transfer window.
I then went to the then-financial manager Karl Hopfner and Uli Hoeness. We discussed what to do about it for two hours."
"That day we made the most important decision: in the future, we will not sell any player we would miss from a sporting perspective.
This unwritten rule applies to this day. For a player like M. Olise, there is no price that would make us falter."
24-year-old Michael Olise scored 19 goals in 46 matches this season.
The "Bayern" club secured the "Bundesliga" title last week.
They will play their first Champions League semifinal match against PSG tomorrow.
