Before the World Championship – Updated FIFA Ban on Fans

Before the upcoming World Cup, FIFA has updated the list of restrictions for fans.

From now on, it will not be allowed to bring reusable water bottles into stadiums in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.

Previously, FIFA permitted fans to cool down during matches by bringing in clear plastic bottles with a capacity of up to 1 liter.

According to football officials, this will further reduce the likelihood of potential injuries if emotionally charged fans start throwing objects onto the field.
