The Amsterdam "Ajax" team has selected a new coach.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that the Dutch team's helm will be taken over by Spaniard Michel.

The experienced strategist has successfully worked at Girona for the past five years.

The specialist will need to work hard at Ajax, which finished in just fifth place in the last Eredivisie championship.
