Longtime Manchester United and England national team player Ashley Young has announced his retirement.
The 40-year-old Englishman announced his retirement on his social media account.
Most of his career was spent with Man Utd, where he played from 2011 to 2020.
During his career, the Englishman won the Premier League once, the English League Cup, and the FA Cups, and also triumphed in the Europa League with Man Utd. After his time at United, Young became an Italian champion with Inter Milan.
In the England national team, Young managed to play 39 matches, during which he scored seven goals.
This season, the experienced player is defending the honor of Ipswich.
