The calendar spring will be welcomed with a true football festival on May 31 in Kaunas – the most anticipated match of the first half of the year between Kaunas Žalgiris and Vilnius Žalgiris will take place at the Darius and Girėnas Stadium.

It is expected that the "Žalgiris” battle will attract a record crowd, which will not only look forward to the intriguing match but also various entertainment options, prizes, a wide selection of food, and other necessary attributes for a football festival.

Earlier, during FK Kaunas Žalgiris' home match at the Darius and Girėnas Stadium, radio presenter Richard Miknevičius visited and experienced the stadium spectator experience.

Having visited the stadium for the first time, Miknevičius had a challenge – to have a good time at the stadium on a budget of 50 euros.

"This is my first time at a football match. Can you explain to me what’s going on here?” Miknevičius addressed the nearby fans.

The presenter purchased Kaunas Žalgiris merchandise and immersed himself in the entertainment offered in the largest stadium in the Baltic States.

Arriving earlier, Miknevičius had time to grab a bite and choose from a wide menu and dedicated food kiosks, effectively quenching his thirst.

"I had a great time and will definitely come back in the future. There are plenty of entertainment options here, so everyone should come to the Darius and Girėnas Stadium,” the presenter expressed his joy.

Did he manage to stick to his planned budget of 50 euros? What entertainment could he find at the stadium? You’ll see everything on the Kaunas Žalgiris YouTube channel.
