"Barcelona” club midfielder Lamine Yamal commented on the "Ballon d’Or” situation:

"I do not intend to try to convince others about this prize.

This matter does not depend on me, but on you.

We had a great year with Barca and the Spanish national team, so for me, that is the most important.”

Lamine Yamal fought for two titles with the Barcelona club last year.

He also became a world champion with the Spanish national team.
