"Liverpool” midfielder Alexis Mac Allister openly spoke about his contract situation.
Before the start of the UEFA Champions League, the 27-year-old Argentine revealed that he expected to receive a new contract offer in the summer, but the club did not provide it.
The footballer stated that such a "Liverpool" decision saddened him.
"I was informed that the club is not yet ready to offer me a new contract. This really disappointed me.
I think everyone can see that I give my all to this club both in training and in matches. I see the examples of Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch, who signed new contracts. I am happy for them and I think I deserve the same,” he said.
"In the summer, I had offers to leave, but I believe I am at the right club. I am ready to continue giving my all for this club,” said A. Mac Allister.
The current Argentine's contract with "Liverpool” is valid until the summer of 2028.
