"Liverpool” season, in which they had to defend the "Premier” league title, did not go successfully. Although they managed to fulfill the "minimum” plan – to reach the Champions League – everything else turned out to be complicated.

"The Reds” did not compete for any trophies this season, and the game on the field was mostly unconvincing.

After the last match, where they managed to draw 1:1 with the Brentford team, Liverpool coach Arne Slot summed up this season with one word.

The Dutch strategist said at the press conference about this season: "Injury.”

Slot also added: "We cannot underestimate qualifying for the Champions League, as many big teams did not make it there. I am proud of my players, as it was really a challenging season.”
