U. Emery: "I want to write a new chapter in the European League"

The head coach of Birmingham's Aston Villa club, Unai Emery, stated before the European League semifinals that he hopes to write a new chapter:

"We will try to use our experience to improve in these matches.

Of course, I know how difficult it is to win in the semifinals, as both teams have equal chances.

They also have a good coach, good players, and experienced strategists.

I believe that both teams currently have good self-confidence.”

"Of course, I have my experience from previous tournaments, but this time is completely different.

In football, everything you have done before – it may have been fantastic, it may not have been, but now a new chapter begins, and I want to write a new chapter here.”

Unai Emery previously won European League titles with Sevilla and Villarreal.

He claimed these titles in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2021.

Birmingham's Aston Villa club will face Nottingham Forest in the European League semifinals.
