Nottingham came close to the Europa League final

On Thursday, the UEFA Europa League semi-final stage began.

The team close to the final is Nottingham Forest, which defeated another English club, Aston Villa, at home with a score of 1:0 in the first match.

The only goal of the match was scored by Chris Wood in the 71st minute from the penalty spot.

In the other semi-final, Braga advanced closer to the final, managing to beat Freiburg at home with a score of 2:1.

The winners scored one goal each from Demir Tiknaz and Mario Dorgeles, while the guests were on the scoreboard thanks to Vincenzo Grifo.
