French national team forward Kylian Mbappé has temporarily become the top scorer of the World Cup.
K. Mbappé stated that Argentine national team legend Lionel Messi could surpass him in scoring:
"Being the top scorer?... Leo Messi will shine again, as usual.”
Kylian Mbappé scored ten goals in the World Cup, while Lionel Messi scored eight.
The Argentine national team will face the Spaniards in the final, and L. Messi will have the opportunity to surpass the Frenchman.
