The new "Manchester City" club head coach Enzo Maresca stated that every specialist would like to have midfielder Rodri in their team:

"This is very important. Every coach in the world wants Rodri because he is an elite player."

"This is important to me, to the 'citizens', and to everyone."

"But now he needs a vacation - this will be very important when we have to play every three days."

The 30-year-old Rodri has been playing for "Manchester City" since 2019 and has scored 28 goals in 298 matches.

He became a world football champion with the Spanish national team and was named the best player of the tournament.
