UEFA millions for Kaunas Žalgiris

The successfully advancing "Kaunas Žalgiris" in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers has significantly boosted the club's budget.

Having defeated the Faroe Islands team "Klaksvik", the team from Kaunas has reached the third stage of the tournament qualifiers, where they will compete against the Zagreb club "Dinamo".

Regardless of the outcome of this series, the representatives of "Top League" have already secured at least a place for themselves in the main Conference League stage.

This means that at least €3.17 million will flow into the team's budget.

It is worth noting that last year, the Kaunas basketball team "Žalgiris", which performed successfully in the EuroLeague tournament, earned a total of €1.56 million.
