"Barcelona" has recently been looking for a new financial partner.

According to the Spanish media, the Catalan football club was strongly interested in the possibility of signing a sponsorship deal with the online "Revolut" bank.

However, "Barca" ultimately abandoned this idea upon learning that one of "Revolut's" advertising faces was the famous former striker Luis Figo.

In the advertising campaign, L. Figo even mentioned his infamous transfer in 2000 from "Barcelona" to Madrid's "Real" team.

This remains one of the biggest betrayals in modern football.
