The small-town team Elversberg continues to amaze.

In the eighth round of the Bundesliga, Elversberg defeated Mainz 4–1.

In the 7th minute, Felix Keidel opened the scoring.

Francis Onyeka also scored in the 26th minute, while Maurice Krattenmacher turned the score into a rout before halftime.

Cole Campbell scored the hosts’ other goal, while Benedict Hollerbach pulled one back for the visitors.

Elversberg currently sit fifth in the Bundesliga.
